My mommy, daddy, sister, Gammy Brenda (my sister Keira's birth mommy's mom - whew!) and I visited the zoo animals in Baltimore. I had the time of my life! I really, really, really want to take my big sister Livie (in LA) to this zoo - I had promised her that the next time she visits we will go there, and I will remember this, so please come visit Livie!!!

I recognized so *many* of the animals from my books and DVD's! I was excited that I could teach my daddy about them, too...

Is that a HALO above mommy's head? Yes? Oh, I see.. it is just the sun :)

Gammy Brenda and I are in a very serious conversation. She is teaching me about pearls, and diamonds, and ponies.

This is how my day at the zoo ended... If I remember correctly my sissie Keira was doing the same thing?

Okay, so my day didn't really end there. We went to Wegman's for chocolate and watermelon. And yes, there IS more in my belly than on my shirt :)

Friday, November 24

I adore my Uncle Chris - he came from NYC to visit us. He read me so many books, he even woke up a few times to read to me... After he left (and the following day) I kept pointing to this chaise and saying "Kwis" and then pointing out the window saying "bye bye buddy, bye bye Kwis".

It was a *great* Thanksgiving - I really understood that we were having a PARTY and I adore parties! Especially if I am the center of attention. In the morning I helped mommy in the kitchen - do you see the turkey in the sink? I helped to put the spices on it!

Why do the men always have to sleep after the big tryptophan intake? I wanted them to read to me! I thought of a great idea and I just stood between my uncle Chris (forefront) and my daddy (on the floor in the background) and read to *them*. Funny thing is that they never even moved while I was reading them (the Once Upon a Potty book)...

In the evening my sissie's Gammy and grandpa came over and I showed off my somersaults for them (see me in the lower left corner?).

My daddy is the BEST. On Thanksgiving morning daddy took me outside and let me play in the only water we could find. Mommy had to give me ANOTHER bath when I returned I was so muddy.

... see all the water pouring into the diverter? It was probably under 40 degrees that morning, too, my mommy was quite mortified :)

My God-sister Annalise came to visit (from Memphis) - she has gotten so big! She is so cute and we had a great time. We will see her again very soon.

In our jammies, ready for bed...

~~~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY ~~~ to my Gigi - she is 91 years old!!! I love you Gigi!!!!!
like father...
... like daughter :)
Dearest anonymous in CT: we received your letter and it brought tears to my mommy's eyes. She is saving it for Thanksgiving to show to daddy - it just seems to appropriate to the holiday! Please *do* stay in touch with us. And.... THANK YOU!
I love my daaa-deeeee.
Great news about my beloved birth sister Isabella across the country! She has been discharged from the NICU after a 5 week stay, and is with her mommy Jenelle now... She does not yet even weigh 5 pounds, but she is absolutely *perfect* in every way. Her mommy (and my birth mommy) Jenelle says that the top half of Bella's face looks like mine, and the bottom half looks like my big sis Livie. We cannot wait to meet you, Bella...
~ ha ha, I am such a HAM ~
This is my beloved Gigi (Esther Caroline), my great-grandma on my daddy's side. I visit her and grandma every single day! And on many, many days we have dinner together (thank you grandma, I LOVE your dinners, they rock, they are way way way better than mommy's). When I bring Gigi a book (which I do a lot) she will read it to me. And she will often play ball with me - she is in her 90's, can you believe it? And doesn't she have the sweetest face?
Hello all!
It will not be all that much longer that I can steal my little sis' limelight like this! :)
Wednesday, November 1
My friend Wyatt has been over to play a few times... he is 1 week older than me, and he is very gentle. We act like brother and sister - there is something special about our relationship, our mommies notice.
At my first Halloween parties I was a ballerina. This is at the Tiny Tumblers party.
Mommy only went to answer the door and I was so QUICKLY up the chair and onto the table to eat the pretzels mommy set up for the Halloween party... When all the pizza boxes came, I did the same thing and climbed onto the pile of boxes, smooshing the topmost pizza all throughout the cardboard ha ha. I am *that* quick! I love, love, love to climb. I use our sofas as trampolines (at grandma's house, too).
My sister and I are ready for our third of four Halloween parties (we have a busy social calendar this Halloween). It took mommy at least 20 minutes of cajoling, begging, manipulating, redirecting, and distracting to get that little bit of cat face on me :)
My FIRST candy! Ricky and Tommy's mommy gave it to me. I really liked saying "tweet tweet tweet" ("trick or treat") and I am still saying it this morning :)
Mommy had some of my friends over before trick-or-treat, I really enjoyed that; it made me even more tired later that night, however, and mommy had to carry me throughout the neighborhood.
